Mr Genani is an Insurance veteran with over four decades of experience in the Indian Insurance Industry encompassing all aspects of Insurance viz. Operations, Policy Servicing, Risk Management, Claims Handling, Client Relationship Management (handled clients with various business interests viz. Cement Factory, Refinery, Power plants, Textile Mills, Oil factory, Shipping Cos. Etc), Team Management, Training, Branch & Division Operations and Compliances. He has worked with United India Insurance Company across various functions and various lines of business including Retail, Commercial & Medical Insurance, in his last public sector assignment he was heading the Divisional office at Jamnagar and was the sole in charge of various departments. After the Public Sector job he worked as an Insurance Consultant with Essar Oil Co. now known as Nayara Energy, where he offered his expertise on mega risks operations Policy of refinery, Operation of Single Point Mooring (SPM), off shore and on shore liability insurance, import of crude insurance, Erection All Risk cover of new projects, Power Plant insurance. Risk Management and Legal consultation are also his forte. He is currently practising as an Advocate in Consumer Dispute Resolution Forum in Rajasthan. He holds a BSc Degree, MA in Economics and a Bachelor of Law Degree. He is also Fellow and Associate in General & Specialised Associate in Marine Branch of Insurance Institute of India.
